Sweet Radio SVG mourns the passing of Enole Lawrence, affectionately known to us and our audience as Head Prefect of the Kalypso Kollege and Angel in Charge of Top Shelf Tunez.
On behalf of the management, staff and listeners to Sweet Radio SVG, we extend sincere condolences to Jordan, Lavern, Reggie, Horace, Chesley, Monique, Orika, Latique and Kyllian, and the many other family members and friends. We are thankful for the time Enole shared with us, and for the significant contribution she made to the programming and Sweet Radio SVG Family.
Enole will always be our Angel In Charge. As a very small gesture of how much she means to us here at Sweet Radio SVG, we are publishing this memorial with photos contributed by members of the Sweet Radio SVG Famalay and her own family. In the coming days, we will be posting messages and more of her favourite playlists. We trust that this memorial will bring some comfort to all who mourn her passing.

My ODE to YNOLDE.
A beautiful Soul, you were FIESTY, HONEST and Genuinely a FRIEND! No IFS or BUTS, if she was your FRIEND she had your back! A DOTING AND PROUD MOTHER TO JORDAN, I remember feeling the Pride over the phone outside our regular Chat, when she was describing his Achievements, especially with the fact that his dad Michael ( May his Soul RIPP) died when he Jordan was months old and that he was nurtured by her SINGLEHANDEDLY!
Oh yes, I was looking forward to seeing her in July after I was made to promise her a visit to SVG for Vincy Mas! This was during a Video convo with her, a mutual friend Janice, who was visiting from Bermuda and Ferdie of FERDIE’S FOOTSTEPS in Georgetown. Janice and herself were visiting Ferdie’s our old “stomping grounds ” and they decided to give me a call from out there! It was rather amusing to have found out from Janice, that when I joined the KOLLEGIANS that simultaneously we both reached out to Janice to confirm whether we were really who we initially thought we were 🤣🤣🤣 and we were both correct of course both of us got confirmation pics of each other dispatched by Janice!
We knew each other during my stint working there and in fact she had actually visited my house in St Lucia with Michael.
FAREWELL YNOLDE, the name that she was supposed to have carrying but as she said Anglicised by the PRIEST!
OUR PHYSICAL LOSS IS A GAIN FOR THE REALM OF THE SPIRITUAL WORLD AND ALTHOUGH YOU WON’T BE AIC IN THE GREAT BEYOND, THERE WILL ALWAYS BE A PLACE FOR YOU AMONG THE ANGELS!
SLEEP WELL MY FRIEND, YOUR WITTY TONGUE, YOUR CARING NATURE AND GOOD SENSE OF HUMOR WILL SURELY BE MISSED!
